About Us

Hi! I’m Maryann. I have 4 children, 2 dogs and a bird and grew up on a beautiful half acre in a loving home that I still visit frequently.  My family has always called our childhood home Meadowlark and it's a name that I thought was fitting for my breeding program because I strive to provide the same love and nurture for our dogs and puppies that I received growing up there. Our number one goal is to bring love, healing and happiness to the forever families that these wonderful puppies go to.

I have loved animals my entire life and ALWAYS wanted a dog as a child but my dad was horribly allergic to all animals with fur and we couldn't have them in our home.  I had various other pets that my dad allowed including birds, rabbits, hamsters, rats, chinchillas and fish but always longed for a cuddly, furry pet like a dog. When I got married and had children and my own home I thought I'd finally get to have dogs BUT my oldest daughter is also allergic to almost everything- including all animals with fur! We settled on getting a bird, a cockatiel we named Zoey.

Zoey was a wonderful addition to our family and we love her dearly. However, I still longed for a dog and my other children really wanted one too so I started researching hypoallergenic dogs and we decided to get a poodle!  

Our mini poodle, Nala has brought so much joy, happiness, laughter and bonding moments to our family.  She has been an emotional support to our entire family, was a breeze to train and we can't imagine life without her.  My daughter that's allergic has had no problems with her being in the home and there has been NO shedding!! About six months after getting Nala, we decided to add another poodle to our family and named her Zora.  Zora has been every bit as wonderful and we can't wait for her future puppies
